Variation in Some Characteristics of the Midway Strawberry

At the present time some commercial nurserymen are listing two clines or stocks of 'Midway' Strawberry, a variety introduced in December 1959, by the US Department of Agriculture and the Maryland Agricultural Experiment Station. Midway was originated in the cooperative strawberry breeding program of the US Department of Agriculture and the MAryland Agricultural Experiment Station and is now being grown extensively in eastern United States.
