Fairland - A New Early Red-Stele Resistant Strawberry

The Bureau of Plant Industry, Soils, and Agricultural Engineering of the U. S. Department of Agriculture and the University of Maryland has released for propagation a strawberry variety named Fairland. The Fairland has been tested as US-3205 and it is a cross between Aberdeen and Fairfax. The cross was grown at Beltsville and the selection made in 1938.
