The Robinson strawberry has been in the nursery trade for about 10 years. It originated in an attempt to secure a better plant producer than Premier. This was accomplished by crossing Premier with Washington. The Premier variety is a dependable producer but is a rather weak plant maker. The Washington produces many vigorous plants with plenty of berries.
