In more recent years, a major unfermented juice industry has developed in Arkansas and Missouri, and the wine industry has made rapid growth in all four states. Over 5,000 acres of grapes are presently prown in this four state region, with the majority found in Arkansas and Missouri (Table 1). With the exception of Oklahoma, all states expect an increased acreage in the near future.
