Apple Varieties in a Cold Climate

This article may aid in the selection of fruit varieties for climates similar to that in the Champlain Valley of New York. Occasionally trees have been planted specifically for test purposes, but the conclusions are based principally on observations in commercial orchards of that area during the past 23 years.
