Results of controlled pollination tests, PCR based S allele typing analysis and examining bloom times on sweet cherry ( Prunus aviwnL) at the NYSAES, were compiled. In sweet cherry, at least 20 pollen incompatibility groups were detected from currently used and newly developed cultivars and bloom times were classified into 5 groups. Based on long-term field observation and lab results, a comprehensive sweet cherry pollination chart was developed.
