The varieties of peaches most widely grown in Mississippi at the present time are listed in approximate order of importance as follows: Early Elberta, Hale-haven, Golden Jubilee, Sullivan's Early Elberta, Redhaven, Georgia Belle, Hiley, Elberta, Dixigem, Carman, J. H. Hale, Dixired, Red Bird, Erly-Red-Fre.
