The editor has developed, through a very extensive correspondence, the following list of fruit breeders and testers of the United States and Canada, including the fruits with which each is actively working. It was compiled ill order to provide the people engaged in the breeding and testing of fruits, and other interested people, with a useful, up-to-date reference. Although this list may be guilty of some omissions, it is hoped that the information it does contain will prove of value. Apologies are extended to thos~ worthy individuals whose names may have been omitted.
