Nemaguard, New Rootstock for Peach

A rootstock for peach, tested as FV 234-1, and released to nurserymen by the U. S. D. A. in 1959, has, just been named "Nemaguard". A seedling obtained from seed labeled as Prunus davidiana, the tree and fruit characteristics more closely resemble true peach.
