Abstract

Paul Howe Shepard, Director of the Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station, at Mountain Grove, Missouri, died suddenly of a coronary occlusion, while attending the annual meeting of the American Society for Horticultural Science, at Purdue University, this past summer.
