Abstract

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion on the subject of naming new fruit varieties since the adoption of the new International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants, the recent changes in the trademark laws, and the bountiful profusion of new fruits being released. Here are the rules as I interpret them.
