Observations were made about apple varieties by members of a Fruit Variety Panel, at the annual A.P.S. meeting in Yakima, Washington, Dec., 1962. Reports they made for their respective areas were as follows:

Fewer varieties are being planted, but enough to give a satisfactory harvest spread.
