Pear and Apple Variety Testing in Kenya, East Africa

I received a request in 1958 for budwood of several pear varieties from Mr. R. Anderson, a fruit grower, of border River Nurseries, at Kitale, Kenya, East Africa. The request was filled in March 1959 and all varities were successfully propagated in Kenya.
