Abstract

We had a farm until I was twelve, with the usual orchard of old home favorites. Then I grew up, went to work, married, and it was 1930 before I could buy our place, consisting mostly of old abandoned farm land. Gradually clearing fields that had grown up in brush, I began to rebuild the old home orchard.
